A journalistic approach to thought leadership.

In 2022, PGIM conducted a global survey of institutional investors to determine the tail risks that, if they came to pass, would upend markets and carefully crafted portfolios. To elevate these insights into impactful thought leadership, I developed a data-rich multiplatform content campaign—conducting extensive interviews with leading economists from around the globe, including Carmen Reinhart, SVP and Chief Economist of the World Bank; conducting deep research through the Bloomberg Terminal and Bloomberg Intelligence analysis; and writing and scripting a series of perspective-changing multimedia articles and videos that incorporated PGIM data and executive viewpoints.

PGIM’s Outthink the Future program invited institutional investors to imagine the unthinkable—to picture a future where the geopolitical and economic outcomes they hadn’t planned for became reality. To introduce this series of thought-provoking articles, I scripted and led creative direction for a trailer video that set the tone for our scenario-driven stories.
